The visionaries behind TheDanger throw the best underground parties in New York City — actually, it’s almost an insult to call these eclectic affairs parties. Part conceptual art-show, part rave, part happening, a Danger event is everything nightlife in this strange town ought to be:
The end of October breeds nights made for mischief. This Saturday we offer an ambitious mixture of the beautiful and the bizarre with two infamous Brooklyn art spaces built out into 13 visions of the afterlife. There is a land just beyond here where surreal shares the stage with the sublime. This is how we live forever-after within the land of ash.
If you have the stamina (and the dancin’ shoes) for this thirteen hour marathon, there is no better place to be on Saturday night.

The CAKE chicks have been slacking on the sexy parties this year but they are finally back with their annual Halloween masquerade. Though CAKE lies at the soft end of the sexy party spectrum, sexually adventurous party-goers shouldn’t have any difficulties picking each other out of the crowd.

Les and I are boned for the time being as far as extracurriculars go, but that doesn’t mean you have to be. Pomo sex party Chemistry NYC is back on October 12th with a funhouse spectacle of clowns, fire dancers, DJs and, of course, people getting it on in the back room. Sex comedy duo The Wet Spots go on at 11pm. Someone’s gotta keep New York interesting — it’s now up to you dear readers.
