Rock-n-roll ain't dead (yet)
Wolfmother
I haven’t been this pumped about a show in a long, long fucking time—I grew up listening to 70’s psychedelic rock and now I feel like I’m, y’know, home again. We’re going to see Wolfmother play at Northsix in Williamsburg on Sunday night. The Monday show is sold out already but there might still be tickets available for Northsix.
I swear to god I’m not being paid to do PR for them, but come to think of it that ain’t a half-bad idea.

I am so psyched!! Wolfmother rocks!! Woo Hoo!!! I’ve been preparing all week. I have memorized Mind’s Eye, Apple Tree and White Unicorn. I feel like a school kid with all this energy. I wish I had the time to be groupie. Rock on!

I feel young now. Thank you. (Hey, I had a kid look at me like I was insane when I said the words “Mix tape” yesterday.)
Maybe I need to investigate, but yeah, I’m definitely a child of the ‘80s.

Um, me too—I just think most 80s music blows chunks.

I hope you guys enjoy the gig- I’ve seen them play a couple of times, they’re not too bad at all…though I have to admit to liking the band that opened for them here in Brissie, The Mess Hall, better. (You should check em out!)
Wolfmother did however give me my best concert story, about the time I got my miniskirt torn off in the mosh pit, so I gotta love the guys for that!
