I went to Tribe with the Bad Man the other night and he captured this image of a white-tailed Manhattan female in her natural habitat. They are rarely seen outside captivity — at least not on a Wednesday night — so we were both excited about this find. The dance she’s performing atop the bar is commonly thought to be a mating display designed to arouse the interest of inebriated males.

Fan service (Japanese simply “saabisu”, “service”), sometimes written as a single word, fanservice, is a vaguely defined term used in visual media—particularly in anime fandom—to refer to elements in a story that are superfluous to a storyline, but designed to amuse or excite the audience.

“So how did you know I wasn’t just another creep on craigslist?” I asked Natalie.

“It crossed my mind that you might abduct me and keep me tied up in your bedroom,” she said.

“Naw, I may be an unapologetic pervert but you’re safe around me.”

She grinned. “But how do you know you’re safe around me?”

As soon as we finished the underwear set she stepped right out of her clothes. I thought of asking her to keep her panties on for a few shots but since I don’t much care for the strip tease in real life I didn’t see any reason to capture it on film. You’ll notice her ass cheeks are a little rosy from sitting on various hard surfaces.

Looking over these photos now, they seem to evoke erotic possibilities that I wasn’t even thinking of at the time. This is why I started shooting some of my encounters in the first place — long after the memories have faded I can look through my snaps and fall in lust all over again…

Natalie was a pure joy to shoot. Equal parts ordinary young girl and wanton vixen, she is one of those rare individuals who’s entirely comfortable being on the business end of a photographic lens. I wanted to do a few underwear shots before we got into the nudes, mostly because I needed time to figure out how to use a fucking camera. Though it was her first time posing nude for public consumption, I was the one experiencing the first-time jitters.
